I’m an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Technology and Operations Management (TOM) Unit at Harvard Business School. My research focuses on human-AI interaction and investigates how people and AI should—and should not—work together in organizations. To this end, I apply theories and methods from human-human interaction to better understand human-AI and AI-AI interaction, exploring how findings across these domains can inform one another. I pursue these questions primarily through field experiments, online experiments, and “in-silico” experiments. I also develop methods to better synthesize existing experiments and run new experiments with humans and AI agents.

I earned my PhD from MIT in the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS), where my research was generously supported by the Accenture Fellowship. I also hold an A.B. in computer science from Harvard College, where I graduated summa cum laude with highest departmental honors. Before entering academia, I worked at Goldman Sachs in foreign exchange strategy and structuring.
